Easter Okech
Executive Director & Programs Coordinator
Easter Achieng Okech is an African Feminist who is well versed in advocacy strategies and is key in community organizing and mobilization. She is adept in application of principles of transformative leadership which create leaders of impact. These include utilization of new approaches to leadership including the Lean Sigma Approach for enhancing quality health care in facilities in key areas and thus ensuring that leadership development projects follow a prescribed mandate and structure, guaranteeing that key issues are addressed using a sound and consistent methodology. Her skills have seen her engaged in technical working groups at both national and county level in key devolved functions of health particularly addressing quality service delivery in health care with a focus on Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH). As a human rights champion, Ms. Okech has also been critical in the Western Kenya Human Rights Network hosted by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights and also sits in various boards e.g. Shiners Sex Workers Group; Bishop Abiero Secondary School; Patron of Abled Differently -a women with Disability CBO. She is also a member of the Public Health Movement pushing for social accountability in health at national level and the Kisumu County SRHR Alliance. Easter also represents KEFEADO in national advocacy teams e.g. in the Deliver for Good Campaign steering committee in Kenya and as member of the SDG-Kenya Alliances works on cross-movement building on gender equality

Essy Atieno Olang
Communications Officer
A young African Feminist Passionate about gender and development championing for women and youth representation and inclusion in political, social and Economic Spheres. Atieno Olang holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and diplomacy and has had vast experience in organizational strategic communications through her engagement with KEFEADO-Kenya Female Advisory Organization as a communications officer since 2019 till date. At KEFEADO, she handles content creation, poster designing and social media management. She equally implements projects under the Collaborations and Networking Program area designed to forge partnerships and alliances with likeminded institutions towards a common vision.

Milanya T. Jackline
Programs Officer - Community Empowerment
A feminist Artivist & Community Mobilizer well versed in advocacy strategies, intersectional and intergenerational approaches in Sexual Reproductive Health Rights. Her engagement with the LBQ and ITGNC networks in the region is critical to ensuring no one is left behind. At KEFEADO she infuses art and sports to engage with young women and girls to speak on prevention of SGBV in and out of learning institutions. She is shaping conversations on peace and security in the region as a young woman through various action groups and has been recognized for the same at national level. She is a trainer on gender and development with a focus on inclusive practices through leadership and mentorship platforms.
Janet Adhiambo
Project officer- Chambua Project
A project aimed at enhancing the participation and voice for persons with disabilities and women facing exploitation, abuse and violence within Nairobi and Kisumu counties.
Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Poverty and Development Studies hence her passion and determination towards human rights advocacy especially with individuals from less fortunate households in ensuring that their needs are considered.
Janet has experience in sales and marketing having been in the entrepreneurial sector for a period of 2years.

Hellen Akinyi
Program officer Community & Schools and community Linkages
A SRHR Champion pushing for advancement of comprehensive Sexuality Education and inclusion of young women and girls in economic justice processes. At KEFEADO, Hellen leads on issues of child education development and empowerment of young women particularly spearheading conversations around ending all forms of violence through the “orange Wednesday” program and the community library.

Belinda Mbanda
Finance Officer
An accountant with vast experience in accounting. Holds a Bachelors in Commerce- Finance Option and has the ability to independently plan, do accounts analysis, reconciliations, budgets and work as team player.
Belinda is apt with automated financial systems and at KEFEADO has a centered role around ensuring compliance of internal control systems looking into budgets and financial management.
